Prizes are given at the discretion of the individual facilities and are not required for Inside the Lines to come to the facility. A tournament can still take place at a facility where the state does not allow a prize. Prizes in the past have included Gatorade and Little Debbie snacks for the men and detergent for the ladies.

Schedule
We are vey flexible to change our schedule to match the needs of your facility. We understand we are in the prison to help you and want to be as easy to work with as possible. The only thing we require for the tournament is a time set aside for a Gospel message from the Bible. Most large prisons can host their tournaments over a 2 day period in order to accomodate all the offenders who want to play. If more than one day is not possible there is the choice of limiting the number of offenders who participate in order to finish on time. It is best, but not required, if 7-8 hrs during the day are set aside to complete the tournament.
Rules
-
Jump Ball will begin play.
-
Change of possession requires a take back, including jump balls.
-
All throw ins are made from the top of the key.

Once a team scores, the opposing team will take it out.

Only team fouls are recorded. When a player gets fouled, the team will take it out. If the basket is good on the foul, the basket counts and the opposing team will take it out. After the 4th team foul, the fouled player gets a free throw and the ball. If the basket is good with the foul, the fouled player gets one shot and the opposing team will get the ball..
-
A 1 minute overtime will be played if necessary.
-
Players may not change teams once play has begun. If a team only has three players and one is lost to injury, that team must play with two players.
-
Stalling with the lead is not permitted and will result in a change of possession.
-
Subbing can be done on a dead ball.
-
A held ball results in an NBA style jump ball.
